Valerie J. Miller, age 74, of Madison, passed away Monday, October 31, 2022 at David Simpson Hospice House in Euclid. She was born September 14, 1948 in Painesville, the daughter of Stephen and Mildred (Eiben) Adams.

A 1967 Graduate of Fairport Harding High School, Valerie married Gordon Miller on October 6, 1973.  A long career in nursing, Valerie would spend most of her time in the Lake Hospital System. She was a natural care giver with a great sense of humor. She loved animals, a good joke, good food, and singing with the worship team of New Day Christian Church in Madison. Valerie cherished and supported her family always. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she nurtured with compassion and caring beyond words.  

She is survived by her husband, Gordon; children, Abbey (David) Williams, Erin Miller, and Scott Miller; grandchildren, Mason and Jacob Williams; brothers, Tom and Chuck (Cynthia) Adams; sisters, Charlotte Hall and Janet (Jeff) Douglass; and sister-in-law, Betty Adams. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Steve Adams.

 Friends and family will be received from 10:00am-12:00pm Saturday, November 12, 2022 at New Day Christian Church, 6835 North Ridge Road in Madison.  A Memorial Service will follow at 12 noon led by Pastor Mike Rice. A luncheon will be available at the conclusion of service.
