Sally Jean Poulson, age 68, passed away peacefully at her home in Madison on Monday, January 8, 2024. Sally was a sweet loving soul, who loved unconditionally. She was born to Charles E. and Jean (Brainard) Poulson on February 6, 1955 in Painesville, OH.

Sally previously attended Deepwood Vocational Guidance Center, but more recently has been a resident of Clearwater Homes in Madison, where she has spent the best years of her life, in the loving care of her caregivers, and LuAnn and Jerry Busch, owners of Clearwater Homes. Sally loved her roomates, her “sisters” Patty Popovic and Mande Hjerpe. Sally attended Grape Escape workshop in Geneva where she enjoyed interacting with her friends. Sally enjoyed her trips to Florida with her roommates at Clearwater Homes.

Sally loved Glen Campbell music and “Johnny and Roy” from the old television show, “Emergency”.

She is survived by her brother, Tom (Shirley) Poulson; sister, Susan Hawley; “sisters”, Patty Popovic and Mande Hjerpe; cousins in Warm Springs, GA, Kathy Moore and Jimmy Poulson as well as her nieces, nephews, and loving caregivers.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Nancy Poulson; brother-in-law, Mark Hawley, and grandparents, Harvey and Bertha Poulson and Sam and Eleanore Brainard.
