Robert “Bob” Eugene Hall Sr, age 77, of Geneva, passed away surrounded by his loving family on April 4, 2024, at Hospice of the Western Reserve Hospice House in Euclid. He was born on September 28, 1946, to Harold E. Hall and Lillian Praszek (Fortier) in Ashtabula, OH.

Bob was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He spent most of his adult years providing Christ-like service to those in his family, church, and community and he instilled that joy of service to those around him.

Bob was a proud, retired service member of the US Navy. He served four years during the Vietnam War in the submarine service and sixteen years in the Naval Reserves with the SeaBees. Outside of church and military service, Bob spent over forty-five years driving tractor trailer to support his family. Bob loved it when he could take his kids on the road with him.

In his spare time, Bob enjoyed spending his time outdoors. He was an avid deer hunter who spent countless hours planning, prepping, and dreaming about getting that big buck. He enjoyed including his kids with him during these hunts. Bob also loved gardening, raising livestock, and tinkering on the farm.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Bonnie (Graves) and two brothers: Doane “Tom” and Harold “Sonny”. Children include Vikki Buhl and spouse Harvey, Robert Hall Jr and spouse Jessi, Jeffrey Frango and spouse Dara, Herbert Hall, Joseph Hall and spouse Rozaura, Thomas Hall and partner Will, and Florence Rachel Baddeley and spouse Vince. Bob also leaves behind 12 grandchildren: Corey, Jacob, Jaret, Jillian, Kristina, Emma, Val, Aseneth, Joseph, Karina, Vinnie, and Jonathan. Bob’s grandchildren were his pride and joy. He loved spending any amount of time that he could with them. Bob is also survived by his former spouse and mother to Vikki and Robert, Elaine Hall and many other extended family members who loved him.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents: Harold Hall and Lillian Praszek, and siblings: Mark, Martha, and Deborah.

Family and friends will be received from 4:00-6:00 PM on Thursday, April 11^th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2930 Townline Rd, North Perry, OH 44057. A service will follow immediately after at 6:00 PM. Final resting place will be at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. A graveside military service for family and friends will be held on Friday, April 12^th by invitation only.

The Hall family expresses their deepest gratitude to the staff of Hospice of the Western Reserve for their compassion, care, and support during this tender time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve in Bob’s name.
