I knew Rich as a friend and co-worker and he excelled at both. He was always helpful to me with my work at Autozone and was patient and friendly. Rich was probably the most well known and well liked person in this area as he always had a smile and some time for anyone who wanted to talk to him. Rich was a rare breed and his passing will leave a very large empty place in my life and in the lives of many others. My deepest sympathies to Toni and all of Rich's family.

Richard had a kindness that he shared with everyone around him. He also shared his love of "Uncle Ray's Farm" that he enjoyed with his Dad, and his brother, Raymond. Our Dad, Frank, would take our family out to Jefferson from Cleveland every week or so. Richie would show us their garden, take us on trail hikes near the dam, or ice skate with us on the frozen lake. Then we would all gather together in the dining room for a family feast., sometimes with Uncle Ray loading the furnace with wood. We would always end the day looking for their big barn along the highway. We would beep the horn goodbye as the three of them would wave their arms above their heads, for one last glimpse of the good old days. Heartfelt love to Toni, Ray, and their families. Your cousin, Karen and Bob Buzzard.

Rich had to be one of the friendliest managers I've ever known. After 20+ years of visiting Rich, you could always see that beeming smile and unprecedented customer interactions that made "his", AutoZone, one to be proud of. AutoZone, lost one of our region cornerstone managers. Rest in peace my friend!! Deepest Sympathy, John Morgan
