Dick was the best neighbor a person could ever want. He was so kind to my parents, John & Julie Lengyel, when they moved to Madison back in the late 1980's. He was so kind to me and my children. What a wonderful reunion they all had. To Curry and Kennison, you had his love every day of your lives. You brought him such joy. Our neighborhood will not be the same without him.

My condolences to the Harmon family. As a Madison High School graduate of 1975, I attended high school with Dick’ son, and only learned today, in reading this obituary that he passed earlier this year. I am so very sorry for you family’s loss. Sadly, in February of this year, I lost my Mother Barbara (Powell) Tackett of Madison, just 6 days before her 88th birthday, too. God Bless them, May they Rest In Peace. Terri (Tackett) Wolcott

Our condolences to the Harmon family. We were lucky to have had Dick in our lives for the past 12 years. We shared many holidays together, where he'd always bring us lots of his homemade fudge or vegetables from his garden. We have many fond memories of his sharing his home for our family, his family and friends' get togethers, where he always cooked for an army! He loved to show us his gardens and his beautiful flowers. He was very proud of his home and the lovely surroundings. We loved him as one of our own and will miss him dearly. The Revelt and Barnhart families.
