Raymond A. Dysert, age 84, of Geneva, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, September 15, 2023 at UH Cleveland Medical Center. He was born January 30, 1939 to Jean Margaret (Constable) and George William Dysert in Cleveland. On April 23, 1960, he married M. Antoinette “Toni” Newcomer, and they would share 59 years together before her passing in 2019.
Ray served in the USMC from ‘57-‘59. He then became a home delivery milkman. In 1960 he married the love of his life, Toni. He continued his career as a milkman, getting up early and working long hours to provide for his family. He worked 39 years as a milkman. After retiring from Dairymen’s, he became a courier for University Hospitals for 14 years. Most importantly, he would want you to know Jesus changed his life. He loved the Lord and would share with whomever he could that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. He would want to ask you: “Do you know Jesus as your personal savior?”
Raymond is survived by his children, Maribeth Bowman, Tim (Alice) Dysert; Debbie (Randy) Wright, Becky (Chuck) Drenik, Tammy (Brian) Dors; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
