John Wilson left a message on September 25, 2023:
What a blessing it has been in my life to know Ray! Two things among too many to mention in this space: 1) I loved his shouting when he was blessed in the Lord during the middle of a church service. Wow! will we miss THAT! 2) I loved Ray's laugh; it was contagious. I couldn't help but at least crack a big smile when Ray was laughing. He laughed easily and joyfully. Ray walked with God while I knew him, and I guess when one walks with God, the joy of Jesus, Himself, is likely to stick out. And did it ever stick out of Ray!

Cheryl Chesnes left a message on September 20, 2023:
My deepest condolences to Ray's loved ones. I had the privilege of meeting and serving Ray often at Sunny Street Cafe and always found warmth and connection in our conversations, especially when we spoke of the day's "Jesus Calling" entries. Ray will be missed by many but we are comforted knowing with absolute certainly he is in the arms of our Savior. Rest in peace dear Ray.
