I have so many fond memories of times spent with your sweet Mom, Pat. She was such a kind and loving person and always made you feel as if you were the only one who mattered when you were around her. That's such a special gift. I will never forget Dawn and I flying to OH to spend a few days with her. She was such a wonderful host and she opened up her home to me like I was family. But the absolute best time was our "girls" backpacking trip to Roan Mountain in October of 1999. Pat had always dreamed of going on a backpacking trip and I was honored that Dawn asked me to go along. We had such an awesome time on the road trip filled with laughter and mayhem and then the trekking up the mountain began. That night the rain set in and we were drenched....but still happy and laughing. We packed up the next morning and headed out trying to make sure we all safely made it back to the dry car. Pat was a real trooper and we were so proud of her accomplishing her bucket list goal. I still have the little hiking bear and the sweet card of thanks she gave me to commemorate our trip. So happy to have such special memories of such a remarkable woman. Dawn and family, I am so sorry for your tremendous loss. I pray you are all surrounded by wonderful memories of the times you all shared with one another. No doubt she will be missed beyond measure. Love and God's peace to each of you. Love you! Amy

My thoughts and prayers are offered to Dawn and her family. I had the opportunity to spend time with Pat and enjoyed her love of family and conversation! She also loved being in the sun as much as me! I’m so glad I knew her and will remember her with much love. Jane Cacchione

I met Pat through my sister-in-law Karen Schafer. I took her to a graduation party for Karen's grandson. I enjoyed the little time I spent with her. My condolences to the family.

Pat was such a lovely lady. We lived across from her for several years in Madison and got to know her and Dom. We would have them over to watch football games. At one point my husband explained the term "stinger" to her and later watching a game with one of her family members she exclaimed - "oh that's just a stinger". Shocked, they said: "how did you know that?"

My heart is heavy. Pat was a kind soul, beautiful inside and out. I'll cherish all of the good memories. Peace to her family during this difficult time.
