Merlin David Rodgers (Dave) age 79 passed away March 16, 2021 after a brief battle with cancer; He was born December 28, 1941 in Orwell, Ohio the Son of Merle and Zella (Jones) Rodgers. He married his Grand Valley High School Sweetheart and love of his life Donna (Dudinsky) Rodgers, October 28 1960 in Cumberland, MD.
He is survived by beloved Wife Donna; children, David Rodgers, Denise (John) Sines, Debra (John) Woodworth; and Dean Rodgers; 10 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Merle and Zella Rodgers; brother, William; daughter-in-law Teresa Rodgers; grandson, Jeremy Rodgers.
A Veteran of the U.S.Army, Retired from C.I.R. Construction as excavating operator, he enjoyed woodworking, designing and building his home in Orwell, Oh, gardening, football, but most of all his family and friends. His home was always full of fun, laughter and love. And will always be loved and missed.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, 2:00 on May 2, 2021 at 2020 Windsor Rd. Orwell, Ohio. The Behm Family Funeral Home of Geneva is assisting the family.
