Little Baby McKenna Remy Howell, Mommy’s “Sweet Princess Baby,” born with a One in a Million rare mutated gene that affected her heart, with what is called Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, (a heart that is thicker than normal and required blood pressure medications at her tender age to keep it functioning as properly as it could for survival.) Her liver and kidneys, which put her into dialysis from the day she was born, as well as when Brandi and Wayne got to take her home (Mommy and Daddy took special classes to learn what her dialysis needs were once McKenna got home.) McKenna fought a Mighty fight that even impressed the Doctors caring for her. She fought hard for 6 months until her body could take no more. She smiled A LOT for all that was going on medically.
McKenna went to sleep with her whole family loving her. Cradled by her loving parents, Brandi and Wayne, and dearly loved by her sisters and brothers, Kasey, Alexis, Tyler, and Chad Michael. Her grandmothers, Rhonda Lefort, Elizabeth Howell and Tammy Brantley; aunts, Jennifer Yoe and Brittany Brantley. Her Godfather, Brian Morningstar, Uncle Jon LeFort, and neice, yes, neice Delilah, are singing McKenna lullaby’s while she dreams into the loving arms of her grandfathers Era J. LeFort and Wayne Howell, Sr.
