Nancy, David and Ralph (deceased) Gauss left a message on February 28, 2023:
My family and I worked for many years with Kathe and her family at Rabbit Run Theater, where she gave her most memorable performances. Kathe was a gifted actress who brought so much enjoyment to all her audiences. Our deepest sympathy to Molly, Sarah and Frank Jr. on their mother's passing. We will always remember her beautiful smile and her quick wit. We are happy that she was a part of our lives. Kathe, rest in peace.

To say she was a brilliant woman just wouldn't do her justice - and though I haven't seen her since childhood, I can still remember the way she would look over her glasses in a way that made her present in whatever she was being asked to do. I imagine so many images of her that the emptiness of someone passing almost seems more intolerable; but I hope that you are able to find comfort in all of those images - In the way she was so willing to be a part of life. Blessings and peace to you, her family and those who shared her story at the time of her passing.
