

Marvene Pettit, age 84 passed away September 21, 2021. She was born June 3, 1937 in Circleville, OH to Victor and Mamie (Wolf) Protzman. She married Carl Pettit on June 21, 1958.
Marvene was a member of the Painesville Baptist Church. She also was a 45 year member of Holiday Camplands Association. She enjoyed spending time outdoors including, hunting, fishing and camping. Marvene served as co-owner of the former Cleveland Coach Lines and later also worked for Lakefront Lines. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren.
Marvene leaves behind her children, Carl, Daniel, Cynthia and Roger Pettit; grandchildren, Kristina (Larry) Pascual, Teresa, Daniel (Rumiko), Mia (Shannon), Eva and Ian Pettit and Howard Campbell; great-grandchildren, Brody Pascual, Kanade and Hibiki Pettit; nieces, Connie Protzman and Sandra Trapp; nephew Kenny Protzman. She was preceded in death, by husband, Carl; son, Jonathan; siblings, Louis, George and Eugene Protzman; and sisters-in-law, Carmela and Carol Protzman.
A Private Graveside Service will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Painesville with a Celebration of Life Service to take place at a later date. Contributions may be made to the family.
