Mrs. Marilyn Silva, 75 of Cape Coral, Florida, went to be with our Heavenly Father on Monday, July 3, 2023 at the Port Charlotte Hospice House in the presence of her loving husband. Born January 22, 1948 in New York City, NY. She was the daughter of the late Cecilio and Felicita (Calderon) Escobar. She married Eduardo M. Silva on April 13, 1984 in Jersey City, NJ.

Marilyn was a dedicated wife and mother. She is survived by her loving husband, Eduardo and her three children, Alexis (Nelson) Alamo, Mariel (Rodolfo) Iturburu-Marino and Eduardo (Evelyn) Silva, her eleven grandchildren, Nelson J., Jonah, Kayla, Isabel, Samuel, Samantha, Alexis M., Micaela, Raphael, Noah, and Elias, her brother Abraham Escobar, her sister, Amparo (Neftali) Salgado and a host of nieces and nephews. Marilyn is pre-deceased by her brother, Jaime Escobar.

Marilyn retired as an employee of the New Jersey Transit. Before her career with NJ Transit, Marilyn worked in several fields including as a school bus driver for special needs children in New Jersey. Marilyn attended Iglesia De Dios Pentecostal in Fort Myers, Fl.

Viewing for Marilyn will take place on Friday, July 14, 2023 at Iglesia Pentecostal Circulo De Oracion Cristiana, Los Pioneros, 34 S. Broadway, Geneva, OH from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., and the Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 S. Broadway in Geneva, OH.
