Mae Frances Geistle, age 70 passed away peacefully at the home of her sister surrounded by family and friends on December 19, 2021. She was born January 15, 1951 in Bay City, MI to Claude and Frances (Whitehead) Stokes.
Mae and her husband, Frank loved to travel and had absolutely amazing vacations together. Some of their adventures included traveling to Alaska and Hawaii. They especially enjoyed the time that they spent in Florida. She was a proud resident of Madison on the Lake. She loved reading, socializing with her dear friends and was always up for a game of cards. She also took real comfort in her pets Ruby and Zeva.
Mae leaves behind her children, Vincent McCabe and Matthew McCabe; step-children, Elizabeth Beard, Mary Daughters, Frank “Sam” Geistle; many loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Patti (Tony) Carlucci, David Furtaw, Julia Johnson, and Virgil (Regina) Furtaw; and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; son, Michael McCabe; her parents; brother, Bill Stokes; sister, Lynn Clifton.
