Penny Martin left a message on January 13, 2024:
To the most amazing Mom God could have blessed us with. Mom, I miss you more every day. If you knew Mom, she was the same to you as she was to us, sweet, soft-spoken and every bit the old-fashioned lady with a bit of "I can do it." She was a woman who would go to a full-time, demanding job, come home, fix dinner for her four children then, put on some jeans and go out and paint the house, tar the roof around the furnace flu, whatever was needed. Mom never asked her teenagers to help with the cleaning or up-keeping of our home, instead, letting us be teenagers. I love you so much and miss you even more than that.
