Lillian “Toots” Kozenko, age 88 of Thompson, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at her daughters’ home in Vale, NC. Born January 25, 1931 in Euclid, she was the daughter of Mike and Mary (Javorich) Kolman. She married Joseph A. Kozenko in Euclid, Ohio on October 23, 1948
Lillian attended St. Patrick Church in Thompson. She never met a stranger. Lillian loved her family and friends and her Cleveland Indians.
She is survived by her son: Bill (Claudine) J. Kozenko of Thompson; daughters: Gail A. Kozenko of Mentor, Lillian (Mike) Turner of Vale, NC, Dodi (Richard) McGuire of Hapeville, GA; 9 Grandchildren; 12 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; her daughter: Pat Kerr; her parents; brothers; Ignatius Loncar, Anton Loncar; sisters, Sylvia Kasunic, Donna Trumphour and Mary Bruss.
Family and friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. on Friday, February 1, 2019 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison. Funeral Service will take place at 11:30 a.m. with Deacon Bob Schwartz of St. Patrick Church, of Thompson officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland.
