I learned today ( 4/15) of Larry’s passing. It was shocking and my condolences go out to Carol and family. Larry and I would bounce back and forth being president of the Carraher reunion (of course with John Carraher also). We should of kept more in touch over the years but a lot of us are guilty of that. I really am shocked, I guess I figured he would be around long after I was gone. I lost both my brothers Terry and Delbert recently and exwife (Bette Carraher) all within 10 days. I realize this is late but sure hope it gets to Carol. My prayers are with you. Thomas E Carraher, Hudson, Fl. tomcarraher@live.com

Larry seemed to be always cheerful, helpful, kind and caring. I remember in my younger years, when I was in the service and had a chance to come home, I would just grab a flight without letting anyone know, until I arrived, in Cleveland. I would call home then, usually in the wee hours of the morning, looking for a ride to Geneva and who do you suppose would always come to get me, Larry and Carol, with little complaint. He was good to me, employed me part time in his business ventures, helped me, sponsored our softball team APEX ELECTRONICS way back in the 70's and did all the things any person would do like a brother. I'll never forget him because he was my brother-in law. He'll be sadly missed.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Larry was a great guy and good friend. I hadn't seen him in years but we shared an email message when he started up the Class of '64 webpage. The summer after we graduated from GHS, Larry and Hency Bunner invited me to join them in a business venture where they sold personality printouts to people at GOTL. They built a contraption that looked like a Univac computer and a card would come out of a slot. That is what they sold, the little card with the general personality traits of people. I think they did pretty good because they were always busy when ever I went down to visit. I should have took them up on their business offer but , alas, I was working in Cleveland that summer and didn't have a lot of time to spend at the lake. RIP Larry!
