Growing up as a neighbor of "Rick" was always a pleasure. Loved to make him laugh. A great laugh. Always positive. Very sorry to hear of his passing and hoping he finds the peace that he deserves. A great gentleman.

Always a big smile everyday at Brush High.Sometimes I would help him with his brown case, that was very heavy. How he carried that thing plus his metal crutches?Never saw him without that smile.Rest in peace my friend.

Janice , Ken&Margie, Frank & I met each other & Rick when we joined CSA. Rick had a major handicap, but we did not think of him as disabled. He was a college grad, worked full time, owned his home, had good friends,& was a talented woodworker with a kind word & welcoming smile. We were honored to attend Rick & Janice’s beautiful wedding & reception. Rick had his ups and downs later in life, where he AND Janice(his angel on earth), suffered thru each day together with Visiting Angels&Hospice by their sides.Rest in Peace Rick.May Heaven be your new home forever!! For Janice, Ken&Margie ?Our love travels far? Frank & Barb Kickel

Hello to all Rick’s family and friends. I am having a hard time typing because of the tears. My best remembrance of (I always called him Rick) is passing him in the halls and seeing his smile. He gave this memory to me and I will always have it. My very best to you all. Jim Law Class of ‘66
