John George Kane III, age 58 passed away September 1, 2022 at Hillcrest Hospital. He was born June 25, 1964 in Cleveland to John and Patricia (Rahrig) Kane.
John was a wonderful husband and father who enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a man that never missed any sporting events for his kids. He was also an incredibly handy man who could build or fix anything. John worked in many roles for Heinen’s Inc. over a 42 year career, most recently as a Senior IT Analyst.
John leaves behind his wife, Cherie; children, Eric, Kyle, Kendal and Spencer Kane; his parents; siblings, Michael Kane, Ann (Michael) Egan, Mary (Michael) Connelly, Patrick (Nicole) Kane.
Friends will be received 4-7 pm Friday, September 9, 2022 at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison. Graveside Service will take place 11 am Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Perry Cemetery. Online obituary and condolences may be viewed at www.behmfuneral.com

I know John for close to 15 years. I can only remember him with a smile. He spoke his heart and never kept me guessing regarding of our ongoing discussions. He always brought to smile to the room and had a way of making every problem look so simple. I connected with him at the beginning of the covid shut down, and it was heartening to see his sincere efforts to help me and my team as we were grappling with the changes and lockdown. I learnt the phrase "all the ducks in the same row" from some of the several planning meetings we had :-)
