It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the sudden passing of James William Wilson, of Austinburg on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at the age of 69.
He will be lovingly remembered by his dear friend Sandra; children, Rodney (Melissa), Corey (Connie) and Ashley (Ryan); grandchildren, Kobe, Olivia, Abbie, Tyler, Molly and Riley; loving siblings, Sharon (Alan) Merhar, Judy Wilson Yacovella, Debbie (Jeff) Russell, Kenneth (Pam) Wilson, Jeffery (Debbie) Wilson, Michael Wilson.
He was born September 22, 1952 in Uniontown, PA the son of the late James and Mary Jane Wilson. He owned and operated a successful automotive shop for 25 years in Euclid, OH. He was an active member of Park Street Church where he served on a number of committees. When he wasn’t at work or church, he loved spending time with his beloved family or enjoying his yard.
Friends will be received from 1-3 pm and 6-8 pm on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 South Broadway in Geneva. Funeral Service will take place at 11 am on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the funeral home. Final Resting place will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg.
Memorial donations may be made to Park Street Christian Church, 97 Park Street in Geneva. Or to the Geneva Food Bank, 505 West Main Street in Geneva. Online obituary and condolences may be viewed at www.behmfuneral.com

I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I stopped by the shop yesterday to give him my annual batch of Christmas cookies when I was told the news. For over 20 years, Jim was a lifesaver when it came to any and all issues my family had with their vehicles. Whenever anything went wrong, someone was bound to say, "Just call Jim". He was one of the most generous, honest and kindest men I have ever known, He will truly be missed.

In remembering my little brother Jim.. We were always so close and my life will have a huge void in it because of this unexpected loss. We were 2 yrs apart and I can’t remember a time when we weren’t in each other’s life..I remember his first love (Sandy) I was maid of honor in their wedding..Godmother to his second son Corey..first car a green Charger that he purchased with his first job (senior year) and he was not supposed to drive it without my Dad’s permission..yep he did anyway and yes I told on him! That’s what older sister are for..when he was five years old I remember vividly Jim in his bedroom sitting on the bottom bunk bed crying because I told him he was adopted..his real name wasn’t Wilson it was Flintstone! He cried and cried..That’s cruel definitely but at the time so funny. We laughed at this memory forever..I love my brother so much and my pride was being his sister always. Jim was there for everyone always helping others and giving everyone a helping hand no matter what or how busy he was! May st of all I will always always be so proud to be his sister.. Jim took a piece of my heart when he went to heaven Christmas morning. The world is a beautiful place because of my beautiful baby brother.. Until we meet again little brother you will always be missed. I love you 💕

I can't imagine the loss felt by Jimmy's Family. His 3 Children and Grandchildren children When we are So deeply touched by the loss of our very dear brother..He will be missed..Such a kind soul..Always taking care of everyone...except himself. His love of God was something he spoke of and followed.. We are so saddened.. A good man, with a kind heart, and love..always love..and a smile to greet you..
I remember Jimmy. & 2 cousins Ron Laughery, and Kenny Moore. Always being a mischievous trio when young in Pennsylvania at Gramma & Gramps Cosgrove's..we all did Holidays in Pa..there were so many of us in such a smalli house..but we all fit. And Jimmy and his wild trio would jump on the mattresses on the floor and on the bed..Jumping and laughing..and sometimes in trouble...OH NO NEVER JIMMY...Mary Jane & Jim's Sons Never could do wrong...She only took pictures of her Sons and their Father....(even when sisters were present) . SO MUCH FUN AT GRAMMA'S HOUSE..SO MANY COUSINS.SO MUCH LOVE..SUCH GOOD TIMES.
JIMMY encouraged Al to get a Job at Ferro with him...We were thankful for that gesture..It gave us a good life the 30 years before Al retired..
JIMMY ALSO gave our Cousin Billy Cosgrove his first job in high school at Jimmy's Gas Station in Maple Hts..JIMMY told me he knew Billy was Destined for SUCCESS ..Bill would bring in charts and graphs and tell Jimmy" IF YOU DO THIS" JIMMY SAID Managing The Station and getting through was enough to handle at that time...THEN JIMMY WENT ON TO OWN HIS OWN STATION...THEN REPAIR SHOP WHERE EVERYBODY ADMIRED JIMMY AND LOVED HIM
