James E. Andersky, age 92, of Madison, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Danbury Assisted Living in Mentor. He was born September 22, 1930 in Cleveland, the son of Jennie (Kral) and Stephen Andersky, Sr. He married Shirley Ann Baumgardner in East Cleveland on August 3, 1957.

James was a graduate of Bowling Green University and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a commercial/industrial real estate appraiser all over the country and a member of the Appraisal Institute.  James worked as vice president of the Craig & Lane Co. and as president of his own company, JSF&G Inc., retiring after 41 years. He was a 50 year member of the Church of Epiphany.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann Andersky; sons, Frederick (Lillian) Andersky, Gregory (Laura) Andersky; grandchildren, Amanda, Nicholas, Angelo, Nolan, and Evan. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Stephen, George, and Walter Andresky; and sister, Helen Anderski.

Friends will be received from 3:00 to 6:00pm on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison. Final Resting Place will be Acacia Memorial Park in Mayfield Heights. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in his name to Alzheimer’s Association of Cleveland, 23215 Commerce Park Ste 300, Beechwood, OH 44122.
