Hattie ”Betty” Wright, age 86, passed away October 3, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born November 4, 1933 in West Virginia to John W. and Gladys (Dodd) Coiner.

Betty was an active member of The People’s Church in Geneva; she loved her Lord and Savior and teaching the Bible both at home and at church. She worked as a nurse for 41 years, working 30 years at Geneva Memorial Hospital. In her spare time she enjoyed puzzles, needlepoint and crocheting, yet most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She leaves behind her children, John (Susan) Wright, Dianna (Ken) Sheriff, Brenda (Eric) Miller, Lisa Avera, David (Tina) Wright and Elizabeth (Gilbert) Foust; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and sister Lola Shelton.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest in 1987; her parents; and brothers, John and Ronald Coiner.

Friends will be received Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 5-7pm at Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva.

A memorial Service will be Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at The People’s Church, 300 S. Ridge Rd. E Geneva. Pastors Robert Scott and Mike Rose will officiate. Final resting place will be Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva.
