Hello, This is Cindi Cox-McCloskey and I wanted to reach out and share my condolences with your family. Valerie, I have many fond memories of your family growing up. Your Dad watching us swim from the bank where he would sit and watch the water after work. Having dinner with your family and going to the laundrymat with your Mom and searching for change under all the machines so we could buy snacks. She taught me how to fold bath towels in that laundrymat down by The Holiday at Township park. I thought of that memory this summer when I took my kids by there for the first time this year. That old laundrymat is still standing! And to think of your Mom handling all the laundry for a family of 6; now I know how much work that is and am glad she corrected my bad towel-folding skills :) My favorite memory of your Mom is how much she enjoyed Halloween. The way she would dress up like a witch and have all the neighborhood kids put their hands in a big cauldron for nickels. She made special Halloween memories for us. I'm very sorry to hear of her passing and know how much you will all miss her. I am very grateful for all the warm memories she made for us. Love, Cindi
