I have so many fond memories of living next door to the Pike family! The five Pike boys were always kind and patient with my two younger boys. There was continual excitement or adventure! And always baseball games in the backyard. It was Fanny Lou who brought me to the Lord and I will forever be grateful to her. When the house was full of boys and then later grandchildren, Fanny would laugh at the chaos and proclaim that when she got to heaven she was sure God would assign her to the nursery!!

I remember Fanny Lou, being the half sister of my mother, Ida Mae (Martin) Myers, was the spirited Aunt. She and Dave were blessed with five sons and then so many more little ones. Raising their five boys was no easy task. I am guessing she prayed often. Now no words can completely comfort the loss of your Mother, Grandmother or Great Grandmother but may each of you find the Comforter. Condolences from myself, Sue, Randy, Wendi and their families.

With fond memories I remember Mrs. Pike and her family. I taught at Leroy School for a number of years. Mrs. Pike was always at school helping out when her children attended the school. Her son Mitch was in my class. He was a fine student and person. One time Mitch baby sat for our son Brian. Brian is now 53 years old. Mrs. Pike had a long life on Earth and will have a much longer one in Heaven. Best wishes to the family as you go thru this difficult period.

I look back to when Fannie Lou and David had boys in sports at Riverside High School. They were both such wonderful supporters of their children and at that time my husband Ron. We loved their kids and the two of them. My husband, Paul, also has fond memories of the Pike Family. We send condolences to all the family. Kathie & Paul King
