Eleanor “Mickey” Louise Harford, age 94, of Newton Falls, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 8, 1929 in Masontown, PA, the daughter of Kate (Brooks) and Otto Clark McManus. She married Charles Bud Harford in McClellantown, PA on November 2, 1948.

Affectionately known as the “Lunch Lady”, Eleanor worked as a cafeteria assistant for Madison School District for many years retiring in 2000. She was a member of Here’s Hope Baptist Church, J.O.Y. Circle in Madison and Red Hat Society. The family is so grateful to Mickey’s granddaughter Jamie for her loving care.

She is survived by daughters, Sharon E. (Edward) Duncan, Terri Lynn Brown; sons, Charles “Butch” (Velva) Harford, Richard “Dick” Harford; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; son, Robert Jack Harford; granddaughter, Kelly Harford; parents; and sister, Mary Alice Lee; in laws, Katherine and Charles Harford Sr.

Friends will be received 4-7 pm on Friday, April 26, 2024 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Shearer of Here’s Hope Church officiating.
