My deepest condolence. Always looked forward to playing with Doug and the rest of the kids when I stayed at my aunt Mary’s house on Alexander Rd. In Walton Hills. Build forts, swinging on vines, playing in the creek, wrestling on mats in my aunts basement. Such great memories.

I first met Doug and my teenage years, my stepfather at the time he's a tow cars into his repair shop. At one point in time Doug came to work for my stepfather for a short period of time and I got to work with him everyday. He was a wonderful person, share his knowledge to teach and it's easy to talk with. I haven't seen or spoken to him probably 20 years, but I'm always remember how thoughtful and generous a person he was. My condolences to your family and prayers for you at this time.

Joan, Carla, Dina, and Rose Marie…We are so sad to hear about Doug’s passing. I remember years ago when my nephew was in high school, Doug offered him tips on wrestling which made him a better wrestler. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

The animals lost a wonderful soul who loved them all. Doug had such a tender place in his heart for all the animals he rescued or that came his way. He had such love for the property and nature all around.
Joanie you are in my thoughts, know you are very much loved. Vev

Joanie, I'm so sorry to hear of Doug's passing. I have fond memories of us sitting on the back desk. He certainly loved nature. He had just completed building a beautiful outdoor home for a baby racoon that had been abandoned. He will be greatly missed.
Love ya,
Sandy
