Doris Mae Small, age 87, of Madison, passed away Monday, May 15, 2023 at Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing and Rehab. She was born December 10, 1935 in Euclid, to Raymond and Mae (Jindra) Sanger.
Doris was a Registered Nurse who worked with local Dr. Gobel for 35 years. She loved gardening. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she loved spending time with them, her family, and good friends.
She is survived by her children, Lee (Michelle) Bodnar, Jay Bodnar and Linda (James) Illig; step-children, Pamela (Gene) See, Julie (John) Reese, and Trudi Solis; grandchildren, JD, Ian, Carli, Nate, Casey, Michael, Hannah, Johnny; 8 great-grandchildren and many loved extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Small; parents, Mae and Raymond; brother, Kenny Sanger.
