Claudia Jean Magyar, age 62, of Madison, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023 at her home. She was born July 12, 1961 in Painesville, the daughter of Betty Mae (Tobias) and Steven Victor Magyar.

A 1979 graduate of Riverside High School, Claudia worked in medical billing for Lake East Hospital and most recently for Crossroads Behavioral Health. She loved animals especially her dogs and cats, who meant the world to her. She also enjoyed horseback riding.

She is survived by her siblings, Beth Ann (Tim) Stachiw, Amy L. (Dave) Morgan, Stephanie (Lenny) Luscher, and Chris (Teri) Magyar; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Steven and Betty Magyar.

Friends will be received from 10 am to 12 noon on Friday, Jan 12, 2024 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison with a Funeral Service to begin at noon. Burial will take place at Williams Cemetery in Leroy. Online obituary and condolences may be viewed at www.behmfuneral.com
