Beth Wrana Weintz Makselan, age 64, of Painesville, Ohio went home to be with the Lord Monday, August 29, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 23, 1952 in Cleveland to Rita (Pawlowski) and Stanley Wrana. She married Patrick Makselan in Harpersfield, Ohio on January 13, 2001.
Beth graduated from Cleveland South High School in 1970. After graduating from Cleveland State, she was a stay-at-home mom for many years. She reentered the work force in 2003 and worked for Steris until 2016. A strong follower of Jesus Christ, Beth was an active member of Bridge Church in Perry, and was very musically inclined, playing piano and keyboard. Beth also loved all animals including her horses and dogs.
She is survived by her husband, Patrick; daughter, Jessica Weintz of Cleveland; sons, Benjamin Weintz, Nathaniel Weintz both of Painesville; step-son, Phillip Makselan of Pensacola, FL; grandchildren, Joel, Jahtali, Judah and Arianna; sister, Rita (Lee) Stessney; brothers, David Wrana, Robert (Nancy) Wrana; her canary, Mr. Crosby; and cocker spaniel, Sasha. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Celebration of Life will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Bridge Church (which meets on the campus of Perry Local Schools), 4261 Manchester Road, Perry, Ohio 44081. Final Resting Place will be Harpersfield Cemetery in Harpersfield Township, Ohio.
