Wilma L. Whipple

Wilma L. Whipple, Age 98, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2010 at home. Born June 13, 1912 in Sandusky, Ohio to Jessie (Rogers) & Chauncy Rohrbaugh she married Rollah H. Whipple on November 18, 1933 in Ripley, NY. Wilma was a 1931 Graduate of Thompson High School. She enjoyed quilting, growing roses, and gardening. She also taught Sunday School at Thompson United Methodist Church for many years. Surviving Family: Daughter, Connie (Bob) Nyman of Madison, Ohio; Daughter-in-Law, Jackie Whipple of Madison; 3 Granddaughters, Catherine (Mark) Simko of Perry, Ohio, Carol (Brian) Nelson of Florida, Kim (Paul) Leuders of Texas; Grandson, Robert (Peggy) Nyman of Virginia; 7 Great- Grandchildren; 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren; 2 Brothers, Robert (Treva) Rohrbaugh of Rock Creek, Ohio & Keith (Pat) Rohrbaugh of Mentor, Ohio. Preceded in Death by her Husband, Rollah Whipple; Son, Jim Whipple; Her Parents; Brothers, Burt, Ronnie, and Kenneth Rohrbaugh; and Sister, Ila McGinnis Friends will be received 11:00 am ? 12:00 noon, Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio with a funeral service following at 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Harley Wheeler of Thompson United Methodist Church.
