William Harold McFadden III, age 66 of Madison, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. Born August 23, 1955 in Painesville he was the son of William H. McFadden Jr. and Virginia Townsend.  He married Carol Faith Amidon on July 4, 1976 in Painesville. Bill worked in the Maintenance Department at Walmart in Mentor and will be missed by his family and co-workers.  A past member of the American Legion in Painesville he was a generous, kind and loving husband, father, and son. Bill could not resist singing Karaoke and with his fun loving sense of humor you always knew there was a good joke just around the corner. Everyone he knew had a fun nickname, many of them were for a lifetime. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol; sons William Harold McFadden IV, Jason Eric (Susan Blair) McFadden, Nicholas James (Reta Jenkins) McFadden; grandchildren, Noel and Naomi Marsh; mother, Virginia Knotts; sisters, Kathleen Marie Jenkins, Bonnie Jean (David) Good, Lois Darlene McFadden, and Elizabeth Ruth (Adam) Fassler. He was preceded in death by his father and infant daughter, Willow Ann McFadden. Friends will be received from 1:00 to 3:00 pm and 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison. Carol and family I am so sorry for your loss I am deeply going to miss seeing him in the mornings when he’s always there picking you up Carol he would make me laugh and he would always say where is she always at and you’re always in the back doing something but he is always waiting for you he will be dearly missed

  2. I am so sorry for your loss !!! Bill was a wonderful man and always there for anybody that needed him !!! I am sure my Mom ( his Aunt ) welcomed him with open arms and they are both watching over all of us as we go through our lives till the day we all come together again !!!
