Walter Truman Rooks

Walter T. "Sonny" Rooks Age 75 Resident of Madison, Ohio, passed away Tuesday June 28, 2011 at home. Born May 13, 1936 in Middlefield to Mable (Hill) & Walter Rooks. Retired as a Machinist from Geneva Rubber. Served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and visiting his friends at Yogis. He previously was a member of the Unionville United Church. He is survived by Daughters, Leigh Ann (Dan) Stinchcomb of Geneva & Traci (Bill) Emmett of Madison; Son, Frank (Carmella) Rooks of Geneva; Grandchildren, Matthew & Patrick Messenger, Justin Rooks & Annika Emmett; Sister, Shirley Booth of Madison He was preceded in death by his parents & 5 sisters. Friends will be received 7-9 pm, Friday, July 1, 2011 at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Additional visitation will be 10 ? 11 am, Saturday, July 2, 2011 with a service following at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Final Resting Place will be at Alexander Harper Cemetery in Unionville.
