Walter H. Witt

Walter H. Witt, age 99 of Geneva, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at his home. He was born June 5, 1925 in Geneva, the son of John C. and Caroline W. (Fasula) Witt. He married Kathryn A. Wolfe on November 16, 1951.

Walter served in the U.S. Navy from 1943-1946. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Geneva. He enjoyed participating in basketball, baseball, golf and bowling.

He is survived by his son, Herbert Witt and his grandson, Dakota A. Witt. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Kathryn A. Witt; daughter, Caroline Fasula; grandson, Bryant Fasula; his parents; brothers, Richard J. and Edwin F. Witt and sister, Dorothy Witt.

Friends will be received 5:00 to 7:00pm on Monday, April 28, 2025 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 S. Broadway in Geneva. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00am on Tuesday, April 29th at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 811 S. Broadway in Geneva. Family and friends will be received for one hour prior to the service at the church. Final resting Place will be Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva.
