Valarie Ann French

Valarie Ann French, age 59 passed away at her home on March 19th, 2020. She was born October 8, 1960 in Port Huron, Michigan to Robert and Donalda (Johnston) French.
Valarie was a nurse at Stewart Lodge for the past 39 years, where she will be remembered for her kindness & sense of humor. All those who knew Val knew she was always the type to lend a hand.
She loved her grandson’s Jackson & Elliot. She was always the first to get down and play with the, taking them on many adventures in her beat up truck. She enjoyed Book Stores, Antiques,& hanging out at the barn with her horses.
Val never met a stranger. A trip to the antique store turned into a hour long visit with a new friend she made. She enjoyed tending her gardens and visiting greenhouses in the spring.
She leaves behind her children, Brielle Stone and Kyle Stone, her grandsons; brother, Shawn (Dita) French; and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her sister, Laura Lynn Terlop.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
