Timothy E. Crane

Timothy E. Crane, age 69, of Madison, Ohio passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 at Lake West Hospital. He was born July 6, 1947 in Painesville to Ervin and Dorothy (Moore) Crane. He married Cindy Winton in Madison on October 4, 1984.
Timothy joined the Army in 1966 and served in Vietnam as a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne. He received many medals, most notably a Purple Heart for injuries sustained in battle. Upon discharge, he worked for the railroad and Laborers Local 496 and retired in 1998. Timothy loved camping in his motorhome and spending time with his family and his dogs.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Cindy; children, Kevin (Carol) Crane, Cortney (Ken Konet III) Crane; brother, Dale (Pat) Crane; grandchildren, Timmy, Josh and Eric Crane; six great-grandchildren, and nephew, Peter (Leslie) Crane. He was preceded in death by son, Todd Crane; his parents and his sister.
Friends will be received 10:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m., Friday, November 18, 2016 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio with a Funeral Service following at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Chaplain Derrek Zelenka will be officiating. Final Resting Place will be Madison Memorial Cemetery.

So sorry for your loss. I hadn't seen Tim in many years, but I have fond memories of good times years ago. Blessing to his family.
Knew Tim back in the crazy 60's school days and when he had that sharp 65 GTO red convertible We were both boaters. Attended his enlistment party and many other good times. Great friend, rest in peace Tim. Your on my prayer list and see you again someday buddy..
