Russell “Rusty” Stone, age 74, of Thompson, Ohio, passed away July 24, 2025 at Meadow Falls of Madison. He was born December 2, 1950 at the Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune, Jacksonville, North Carolina, to Edna (nee Williams) and Russell Stone. Russell married Vicki Murray at Thompson Methodist Church in 1979.

Russ has departed this life and his soul has risen to heaven. He was the most perfect partner throughout our life together.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki; son, Matthew Fike; brothers, Jeff Stone, Gary Stone; aunts, Louise (Bill) Weddington, and Dee Stone. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Edna Stone; sister, Kimberly Majka.

Friends will be received 12:00 PM- 2:00 PM, Friday, August 8. 2025 at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison Ohio 44057, with a Funeral Service following at 2:00 PM. Pastor Rick Hughes will be officiating. Final interment at Maplegrove Cemetery in Thompson, will be private at a later date.

    • Thank you Aunt Linda. Dear Rusty did travel admirably. As one of the early grandchildren of Grandparents Williams, Rusty was kind, sweet, and loving. Someone we could always count on. His cousin Tom McCollister will keep their fun secrets! It was long time ago but he was an important part of our childhood. My prayer: please Jesus have the angels give him a big hug as he enters Heaven. Sue Sevakis
