Rosemary Rochford

Rosemary Rochford, age 76, of Perry, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2020. She was born February 10, 1944 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of Rose (Deibel) and George Edward McLaughlin. Rosemary married George “Budge” Rochford, the love of her life in 1966.
Rosemary graduated from Mercyhurst College and worked at General Fireproofing Inc. She was a homemaker and raised 3 loving sons. Rosemary was a gourmet cook and spent a lot of time in the kitchen where everyone enjoyed the fruits of her labor. She loved the lake and her animals but most of all Rosemary was a proud grandmother and cherished spending time with all her family.
She is survived by sons, George (Lorie Locke), Michael (Tara Wozniak), Patrick (Katie Smith); seven granddaughters, Elizabeth, Kennedy, Olivia, Erin, Eleanor, Meredith and Addison. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, George “Budge” Rochford; and her parents.

I am very sorry to hear of Rosemary’s death. We were in the same club at Ursuline for 4 years. I have fond memories of pajama parties at her home on Colonial Dr. and enjoying chocolate ice cream with marshmallow sauce. Her parents were so welcoming and we had wonderful times.
