Rocksann M. Hyson, age 38 of Painesville, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2020. She was born March 2, 1982 in Madison, Ohio the daughter of Michael and Wanda (McElroy) Nichols.
Rocksann struggled with addiction for a majority of her life, unfortunately she lost her battle but her fight won’t be forgotten.
Her children were her main focus and she spent most of her time doing the things they enjoyed. The time she spent even doing small things with her kids like taking them to work, going to the beach, or watching a movie, were the times she was the happiest. Our hearts are broken thinking about all the things we will no longer be able to do with her, but were relieved to no longer see her struggling.
She is survived by her children, Amber Nichols, Chelsea, Michael, Daniel Marino; father, Michael Nichols; siblings, Michael Nichols, James Mcelroy JR, Danielle Mighll. She is preceeded in death by her mother, Wanda Nichols.

MY niece Rocksanne was a nice person I will never forget her I use to puch her in a wheel barrell to get her to go to sleep she loved it . And that little tom boy trying to keep up with her two brouthers . If she could help u she would. I will never forget her. she will be sadly missed. aunt Barbara mcelroy she use to call me pettit Rocksann had 2 aunt barbaras and we bouth loved her very much. god bless her. sending preyers to the family .
