Richard S. Roath

Richard S. Roath, age 90, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Monday, October 3, 2016 at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Township. He was born April 15, 1926 in Madison, the son of Clara Jane (Willm) and Howard D. Roath. He married Betty Reeves on June 21, 1952 in Painesville. Richard was a 1944 graduate of Perry High School and worked for many years as a Materials Manager for Cyberex Corporation. He loved gardening, restoring old tractors and his Scotty dogs. Richard gained a great appreciation for aviation through his son, Alan. He is survived by his son, Alan (Suzanne) Roath and grandson, Dustin. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; and his parents. Private family services for Richard were observed. The Behm Family Funeral Home of Madison is assisting the family.
