Richard M. "Dick" Albert

Richard M. Dick Albert, age 75, of Madison, and formerly of Euclid, Ohio, passed away peacefully in his sleep at Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing Facility in Madison, on Friday, November 10, 2017.
Richard was born on June 11, 1942, in Cleveland Ohio, the son of Josephine (Picciano) and James S. Albert. He married Barbara Dinishak on January 20, 1962, at St. Christines Church, in Euclid, Ohio.
Dick was working on computers before they were even popular and became an IT Programmer. He was the owner of Albert and Hales Computer Programming. From the time he was 28 years old, he was a Ham Radio Operator. Developing his hobby over time, his Call Signs were WB8HNX and later, W8RMA. He belonged to the Indian Hills Radio Club most of his life. Dicks greatest passion was politics. He had a vast knowledge of history and was a member of the NRA.
Dick is survived by his wife, Barbara Albert, of Madison; sons, Phillip (Teresa Penny) Albert, of Mentor, Glenn Albert, of Monongahela PA; granddaughters, Victoria and Jenna Albert, sister, Patty Ann Smee.
He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Neil Albert in 1995; parents; brother, Jay Albert; his best friends, devoted Mini Schnauzers, Fritz and Scooter.
Per Dicks wishes, no services are being observed. Donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association, Cleveland Area Chapter, P.O. Box 74924, Cleveland, Ohio, 44194.
