Phyllis Ann Pepoy

In Loving Memory of Phyllis Ann Pepoy April 15, 1942 – March 13, 2019 Phyllis Ann (Tolaro) Pepoy, 76, finally reunited with her devoted husband Joseph on March 13, 2019 after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her loving daughters, Angela M (Matthew) Smith and Elizabeth A. Densmore. She was especially close to her grandchildren, Matthew B. (Heather Brolley) Smith; Kristen L. (Benjamin) Hammer; Christopher J. Densmore; Erica A. (Jordan) Bliss and Jessica A. (Anna) Hite. Her grandchildren were the center of her universe, and because of that became Mimi to so many. She was a proud great-grandmother to Savannah and three sweet babies on the way. A great lover of dogs, she is also survived by her furbabies,Tudey and Patch. In addition to her husband, Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents Angela and James Tolaro. Phyllis was a tireless career woman before it was fashionable. She loved Christmas and for years put up over 50 trees in her home. One of her favorite sayings was “Everybody needs a little Christmas all year long.” She was a dynamic force of energy, humor, beauty and above anything else love. Phyllis Pepoy lived out loud and on her terms. For all of us who loved her, we wouldn’t have had it any other way. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Northeast Ohio Collie Rescue, Donation Coordinator, PO Box 1594, Elyria, OH 44036. 1. Our deepest sympathy to Angela, Beth and their families. I was so fortunate to live next door to Phyllis. I didn’t know a soul when I moved to Ohio and she made me feel so welcome. We always laughed about how I would hop over her deck railing in the morning (still in my pjs) for coffee and to do crafts. Everyone was always welcome at Phyllis’ house. She will be missed by so many, Claudia & Rich Myles
