Patrick Hanzak

Patrick Hanzak, age 79, of Madison passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at his home. He was born September 26, 1935 in Painesville, the son of Joseph Hanzak and Gizella (nee Biro). He married Janet Urbas on September 26, 1959 in Willoughby. Patrick served in the U.S. Navy and was a life member of the Madison VFW Post 8548. He is survived by his sons, Thomas (Bonnie), Ray (Mickie), James (Natalie) Hanzak all of Madison; grandchildren, Tyler (Tara Allen), Ashleigh (John) Gluvna, Raymond Jr., Garrett, Destiny, Macenna, Adrianna, Melody, Faith, Brandon; great-grandchildren, Mason, John Edward Gluvna IV and Ryleigh Gluvna. He was preceded in death by his wife Janet in 2012; his parents; brothers, Dick, Joe, Dan; sisters Irene Lefelhocz and Rita Nuse. Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2015 at Lifeline Church, 5236 Middle Ridge Road, Madison. A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. with Pastor Evan Nunnelly officiating. Graveside service with military honors will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20th at Alexander Harper Memorial Cemetery in Unionville. The Behm Family Funeral Home of Madison is assisting the family with arrangements.
