Norman C. Heath ASHTABULA- Norman Clark Heath, 83, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family, Friday, February 27, 2015. He was born May 18, 1931 in Willoughby, Ohio the son of the late Lionel and Gertrude (nee Prestley) Heath. Norman was a United States Air Force veteran, where he worked as an Air Police and served in the Korean War. He retired from ITT, where he had a long career in flight data instrumentation for the U.S. Government. On October 28, 1978, he married the love of his life, Alice Heath. Norman was an active member of AA for the past 43 years. His hobbies included, restoring old cars and working on projects around his house and out in the yard. His survivors, include his three daughters, Theresa Bentz of Spokane, WA, Suzzanne Nevells of Sacramento, CA and Dalene Heath Kelly of Yumg, ZA; sons, John Paul Weatherspoon of Saybrook, OH, Christopher Heath of Hayden, ID, Mitch Heath of Las Vegas, NV, Michael Luna of Saybrook and David Hendrix of Fort Myers, FL; and numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Alice; parents; and a brother and sister. A celebration of life, will be held, Saturday, March 14, 2015 from 1-3 P.M. at the American Legion Post #103, 1804 W. 19th St., Ashtabula, where remarks and military honors will be held at 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Norman may be given to the Hospice of the Western Reserve, 1166 Lake Ave, Ashtabula, OH, 44004. The BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 175 N. Broadway, Geneva, is handling arrangements.
