Nora Marie Hummel

Nora Marie Hummel, age 65 of Madison, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026. Born in Painesville on February 6, 1960 she was the daughter of the late Harold A. “Buzz” Hummel and Irene A. Gorman Hummel.

Nora grew up in Madison her entire life up until 3 years ago when she moved into a group home in Mentor. She loved life. She was a happy, silly, loving & caring person. She loved her family, friends and neighbors along with all the pets. She was always singing and quick with a joke. Her smile was infectious and made everyone one she touched smile. She will be missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents: Buzz & Irene, Brother Glenn & his daughter Maureen, Nephew Josh Hagan & Brother-in-Law Rich Pawlick. Nora is survived by her brother John (Tina), & 6 sisters Jenn Farley, Kathe Reiser, Deborah (Chuck) Scott, Laura Hagan, Anne Schatz, & Macrina Hummel and along with her 5 adoring nieces (Sherry, Kristen, Leia, Halle & Dawn) and 6 nephews (Marc, Kenny, Nathan, Lee, Daniel, Rickie) and 8 great nieces (Jessie, Breanna, Kira, Oksana, Lylah, Dottie, Mia, & Winnie) & 5 great nephews (Jonny, Jake, Brendan, Barry & Rickie) and 1 great, great niece Akshara.
