Nancy Cowdrey

Nancy Cowdrey, age 74 of Madison, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2014. Born January 16, 1940 in Madison, she was the daughter of Gertrude & Fred Davis. She married Norman "Gene" Cowdrey in Madison on July 15, 1989. Nancy retired in 1997 from LTV Republic Steel. She enjoyed traveling, playing bingo and golf and going to garage sales. She will be deeply missed by her family. She is survived by her daughter, Anna (Lee Edgerton) Lowthian of Leroy; sons, Steven (Rayann) Lowthian, Sr. of Pearcy, AR, Paul (Sharon) Lowthian of Fairport, Mark (Denise) Lowthian of Leroy, Ken Lowthian of Long Beach, CA; grandchildren, Morgan, Erin, Steven, Cassandra, Jeremy, Jessica; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Chandler, Baylie; brother, Frank Davis; beloved pets, Charlie & Magoo and many beloved nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Cowdrey and her parents. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, May 23, 2014 at Madison Memorial Cemetery In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lake County Humane Society, 7564 Tyler Blvd., Building E, Mentor, OH 44060 .
