Michael A. Focarelli, age 55, passed away Friday, December 9th, 2016 at his home in Thompson, Ohio. He was born November 5th, 1961 in Cleveland to the late Phillip and Patricia Focarelli. Mike worked as a boiler maker for Local 744 and often traveled to many distant locations as he provided for his family. He enjoyed spending time outdoors to hunt, garden, and take general care of his property. Mike will be remembered for his joking sense of humor around all of his family and close friends whom he treasured his time with. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Karen Focarelli; daughter, Alicia Focarelli of Geneva; stepdaughter, Malinda Modic of Cleveland; four grandchildren, Angel Breeden, Adriana Allen, Cody and Giana Wilcox; two great grandchildren, Grace and William; sister, Donna (Wes) Lowe of Painesville; many relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 4 PM on Saturday, December 17th, 2016 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio 44057. Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 2-4 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mike's honor may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital through their website www.stjude.org .
