Mary Eloise Smith

Mary Eloise Smith, age 89, of New Lyme, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018 in Jefferson, Ohio. She was born August 14, 1928 in Altman, WV the daughter of Minnie (Meadows) and George Anderson. Mary married Kendall Smith on July 5, 1946. Mary was employed as a grinder at Sanborn Wire Products for 18 years, before retiring in 1990. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially gardening and fishing. She is survived by her daughter, Yvette (Bill) Clark; sons, Roger L. (Joyce) Smith, and Kendall Smith; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kendall; parents; sister, Helena Silhan; and brothers, Charles and Ronald Anderson. The family would like to thank Marys caregivers at Hospice of the Western Reserve for their loving care. A graveside service will be held on June 30th at 2 pm at the Hartsgrove Cemetery in Hartsgrove Township, Ohio. In Lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to be made in Marys name to Hospice of the Western Reserve. The Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 S.
