Mary Ellen Kapudjija, age 71, of Orwell, Ohio passed away peacefully on Monday, October 24, 2016, surrounded by her family at UH Geauga Medical Center. She was born August 3, 1945 in Webster Springs, WV to Hillard Noah and Rose Alice (Moore) Riffle. Mary graduated from Buckhannon High School in West Virginia. She retired from Kennametal. She enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, gardening, especially flowers. Mary watched the Cleveland Indians, golf and poker. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Cherie (Kevin) Mracek, Teresa (Mike) Bernard, Sonja (Chip) Teague, Laura (Terry) Kerns; grandchildren, Emily, Nick, Dustin (Destiny), Michael (Samantha), Kirstin (Brian), C.J., Anthony, Maddy, Saige, Walter, Samantha; eight great-grandchildren, brothers, Norman, Charles, Terry; sisters, Rosemary Queen, Alice Blake, Hattie Scott, Karen Riffle, Louise Gould, Loretta Sandy; pets, Charlie and Lulu; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by son, Mark Daniel Kapudjija; brothers, Emmett, Johnnie, and Ernie Riffle; sister, Patty Junkins; and her parents. Friends will be received 3 - 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 South Broadway, Geneva, Ohio.
