Born in: Logan, WV
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Ann Collins, beloved mother, devoted friend, and pillar of her community, who departed this life peacefully from natural causes on March 24, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on May 1, 1935, in Logan, West Virginia, Mary Ann spent her life sharing her kindness and warmth with all who crossed her path.
As a dedicated Dietary Aid at Lake East Hospital, she touched many lives through her compassion and commitment to service. A woman of unwavering faith, Mary Ann attended church her entire life, drawing strength and solace from her faith which she shared generously with family and friends.
Mary Ann is survived by her loving children, Clyde (Kim) Collins, Jr., Kathy Kingery, and Linda (Brian) Morgan, who carry on her legacy of love and gentleness; grandchildren, Jeff (Mandy) Collins, Nathan Collins, Jesse (Joanna) Titus, Gene (Heather) Titus, Lisa (Steve) Belfi, William (Julie) Pollock, and David Pollock, and 15 great grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie Pollock; grandson, Jason, Collins; sisters Rhoda Messer, Martha Bryant, and Virgie Vance; parents, Mary and John Spry, and her husband of 40 years, Clyde Collins, Sr. Known for her serene and calming spirit, Mary Ann was the kindest person, never known to harbor anger, and her laughter would often brighten any gathering, especially during spirited games of Rummy, where she sometimes humorously bent the rules.
Family and friends are invited to honor her memory and may come to Lake Erie Church of God from 2-4pm, Sunday, March 29, 2026, 2300 Hubbard Rd. Madison, OH 44057. A funeral service will follow immediately at 4pm at the church.
Mary Ann will be laid to rest in a graveside service at North Madison Cemetery on March 30, 2026, at 11:00 AM, where she will be interred with the dignity she truly deserves.
In this time of sorrow, we find comfort in the legacy of love and faith Mary Ann leaves behind, reminding us all to live life as she did—gently, kindly, and devotedly. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched. The Behm Family Funeral Home is assisting Mary’s family at this time.
