Marion "Sam" Harless

Marion "Sam" Harless, age 72, resident of Madison, passed away, Friday, December 21, 2012 at his home. He was born November 25, 1940 in Proctorsville, Ohio, the son of Dora (Smith) and Hubert Calvin Harless. He married Carole Bird on September 17, 1960 in West Virginia. Sam retired from Morton Salt in 2005. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He loved spending time with his family. Survived by: His Wife of 52 years, Carole Harless Daughter: Dreama (Dennis) Nasca of Madison Son:Samuel "Butch" (Nan) Harless of Fairport Son: Marshall (Kimberly) Harless of Geneva Daughter:Cindy (Tim) Miller of Geneva Grandchildren: Jason, Jessica, Daniel, Vincent, Sarah, Samantha, Russell, Shannon Matthew, Michael, Eric, Chad, Christina, Cory 9 Great Grandchildren 2 sisters: Doris Pence and Wanda Uncapher both of West Virginia Several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Grandson Noah, and Brothers Paul, Merdith, and Cybert. Visitation: 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison. Services: 10:00am on Friday, December 28, 2012 at the funeral home. Final Resting Place: Madison Memorial Cemetery Contributions: St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
