Lillian A. Witt, 87, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, March 25, 2015. She was born on February 10, 1928 to the late Ernest and Elizabeth (nee Mangan) Busch, Sr. Lillian was a life-long member of Immaculate Conception Church and the Madison community. She loved to cook, bake, decorate cakes, sew, crochet, knit, bowl, roller skate, sing and dance. She was a member of the Geneva Grape Jamboree Slovenian Dancers in the 1960's and 70's. Lillian was a graduate of Madison High School and during World War II she worked in the orchards picking fruit to assist farmers who were short-handed. She held various jobs over the years retiring from Harvey Hubbell in 1990. Lillian is survived by her children John and Elizabeth (Gerald) Schaller. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Edwin; her brother, Ernest Busch, Jr.; and her parents. Visitation will be Sunday, March 29, 2015 from 2 -6 p.m. at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 30, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Church, 2846 Hubbard Road, Madison with Rev. Father Sean Donnelly officiating. Burial will follow at Madison Memorial Cemetery on Arcola Road. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Church, 2846 Hubbard Road, Madison.
